Reminder to 8th Grade Students and Parents: Class of 2029 apparel orders are due tomorrow - Thursday, February 27, 2025. Please submit all orders to the KJHS office as soon as possible. Order forms can be located in the KJHS office.

The following changes are being made to the KJHS menu this week:
Monday Lunch: Buffalo or BBQ pulled chicken on a bun
Wednesday Breakfast: Apple or Cherry Turnovers
Wednesday Lunch: Regular or spicy chicken on a bun
Thursday Breakfast: Scrambled eggs and bacon
KJHS Yearbook orders are due Friday, March 21, 2025. If you would like to order a yearbook, please send $25 cash or check in an envelope with your student's name, grade, and advisory teacher to the KJHS office. Please make any checks payable to: Knoxville Jr High School
Attention Parents: Due to recent snow days, the KJHS kitchen may be making menu changes to breakfast and lunch in the coming days. Keep an eye out for more information on upcoming changes to the menu.

KJHS Volleyball heads to Aledo tonight for a conference matchup with Mercer County. The 7th grade game begins at 5:30 pm. The game will be played at Mercer County Jr. High, 1002 SW 6th St, Aledo. Go Bullets!!
Due to the inclement weather forecasted for tomorrow, Wednesday February 12, 2025, all Knoxville CUSD #202 Schools will be closed. Also all after school extra-curricular activities are cancelled for Wednesday February 12, 2025.

Due to the 12:30 pm early dismissal for today, February 5, 2025, the afternoon Pre-K class and the after school PALS program is cancelled.

A note from the nurse: Winter Illnesses
There's still time to take advantage of the Miles of Smiles free dental cleaning and exam! Please submit completed forms by Monday, January 20th to ensure your student receives these services.
A gentle reminder that Miles of Smiles forms need to be turned in by THIS Friday, January 10, 2025. This is a free service provided to the district to ensure all student have the opportunity to receive necessary dental care. If you have a student in Kindergarten, 2nd, 6th, or 9th grade, or if your student will enter those grades for the 2025-2026 school year, this service will ensure they meet the dental requirement set forth by the state. If you need a form, reach out to nurse@bluebullets.org and one will be sent to you. Thank you!
