New Student Requirements
Verification of Residency
It is the responsibility of the building administrator (principal, assistant principal, guidance dean, principalβs assistant, or administrative assistant) to verify the residence of a student. Families must provide proof of residency during registration in grades K-5, 6, and 9, or if the family has changed residence. Families will be asked to provide proof of residency in the following manner:
Category I (One item showing current address)
Rent/Lease: Current lease/rental agreement AND a current utility bill or connection receipt with current address dated within 30 days of enrollment.
Home Owner: Current mortgage statement, deed, closing documents, or property tax bill AND current utility or connection receipt dated within 30 days of enrollment.
Category II (Two documents showing current address must be provided within 30 days of enrollment)
Utility Bill (gas, electric, or water), Cable (satellite, internet, or telephone bill (may include cellular bill)), Voter registration card, Auto registration, Public aid card, Payroll documentation, Credit card bill Post office boxes are not acceptable as proof of residency.
In a case where administrators have reason to believe that a student is registered under a false address, the following documents may serve as verification of address:
Rent or Mortgage Receipt
Tax Bill
Utility Bill
Affidavit of Residency if one of the items listed cannot be provided
Anyone who knowingly enrolls under a false address is subject to prosecution under the law as a Class C Misdemeanor. Any administrator who knowingly enrolls a student under false pretenses is also subject to prosecution under the same Class C Misdemeanor

New Parents/Guardians to Knoxville (New Alma Account)
If you are a new parent/guardian at the district and have never created an Alma account with Knoxville CUSD 202's Alma and have never enrolled a student with any school at Knoxville CUSD #202, please follow the instructions below.
Create a parent/guardian account by filling out and submitting the form at the following link: Create Parent/Guardian Alma Account
Click the link that was emailed to you to set your password
Login to Alma with the password that you just created. Be sure to use the link for the school you are registering at by visiting this page:
Register Your Student (with existing Alma Account )
Login to your Alma account at the following link: Alma Links. Look for an activation email if you have not activated your Parent/Guardian Alma account. This email will contain a link to set a password and activate your account.
Click the link under your student's name to start returning registration.
Registration Payments
An invoice will be emailed to the email address on your parent account with the fees owed. You can pay these in person or online using the link in the email.
