Both the KJHS Boys and Girls teams hit the road for away matchups tonight. The Girls head to Monmouth-Roseville for a conference matchup with the Titans. The 7th grade game tips off at 5:30 pm and their games will be played at Monmouth-Roseville Junior High, 200 E Gossett St, Roseville, IL 61473. Meanwhile, the boys teams head to Woodhull for a showdown with the Aces at AlWood Middle/High School, 301 E 5th Ave, Woodhull, IL 61490. **Please note that the 7th grade boys game begins at 5:00 pm.** Good luck and Go Big Blue!!

As a reminder, on Thursday, October 23, students will attend a show at the Orpheum entitled Tilt by Cirque Mechanics. This is for all students and is offered free of charge through the YES (Youth Entertainment Series) programming in Galesburg. 7th and 8th grade students will attend the show at 10:00 am (departing KJHS around 9:15 am), while 5th and 6th grade students will attend a 12:30 pm performance (departing around 11:45 am). Knoxville Junior High Picture Retakes are tomorrow: October 21, 2025. Students who were absent for Picture Day should come to school prepared to have their picture taken.
If you purchased and were unhappy with your Picture Package, please send your Picture Package to school with your student on Retake Day. Your Retake Picture Package will be produced and shipped to the school four weeks after Retake Day. Please note, if your child is photographed on the original and Retake Picture Days, the Retake picture will replace the original picture in certain products, like the yearbook.

KJHS Boys Basketball - for 7th and 8th grade students - will begin practice on Monday, October 20. Interested students MUST have a physical/sports physical on file in the office and be registered through Snap! before practicing. The practice schedule is as follows:
8th grade - 6:00 am - 7:30 am Monday, 10/20 - Friday, 10/24 and Monday, 10/27
7th grade - 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm 10/20 and 10/21, 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm 10/22, 3:30 pm - 4:45 pm 10/23, and 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm 10/24.
Any changes to this, as well as the schedule for the following week, will be communicated by the coaches at practice. Morning practices (before school) will more than likely stop after 10/27. If you have any questions, please call the office or email
