KJHS families, please note the following menu change for this week. Tomorrow, Wednesday, January 28th breakfast will be a sausage, egg, and cheese croissant and lunch will be a choice between a regular or spicy chicken sandwich. Thursday's breakfast and lunch menu will remain the same. Friday, January 30th's breakfast will remain the same but lunch will be changed to garlic french bread pizza. Should any other changes arise, we will let you know ASAP. Thanks!

It's another busy night for KJHS Athletics! Volleyball heads to Avon for a non-conference matchup with the Tornadoes. The 7th grade game begins at 5:30 pm and will be played at Abingdon-Avon Middle School, 320 E Woods St, Avon, IL 61415. Wrestling heads to Monmouth-Roseville for a conference meet with Mercer County and the host Titans. The meet begins at 5:00 pm - please note that Knoxville will not wrestle the first set of matches - and will be held at Monmouth-Roseville Junior High, 200 E Gossett St, Roseville, IL 61472. Finally, the 8th Grade boys basketball team plays A-Town in an IESA Regional Semifinal. The game begins at 5:30 pm and will be held at Rockridge Junior High, 14110 134th Ave W, Taylor Ridge, IL 61284. Good luck to all and Go Big Blue!!

Volleyball will host Mercer County as scheduled. The 7th grade game will begin at 5:30 pm @ KJHS.

KJHS Wrestling and KJHS 8th Grade Boys Basketball both head to Rockridge tomorrow for events. Wrestling is participating in the Rick Amy Invite, while 8th Grade BB opens Regional play vs. the host Rockets. Wrestling begins at 9:00 am (bus time 6:30 am), while basketball tips off at 10:00 am (bus time 8:15 am). The address for the school is 14110 134th Ave W, Taylor Ridge, IL 61284. Please note, the wrestling invite will be held in the HS Gym, and fans should use the "main" entrance for wrestling. Basketball, meanwhile, will be held in the JH gym. Fans should use door 5 on the North side of the building. Good luck to both teams and Go Bullets!!

It's a big game for the 8th grade, as the winner of tonight's battle takes home the Prairieland Conference title. HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to our KJHS Cheerleaders and Coach Hopper!! They traveled to the ICCA Championships in Springfield this past weekend and came home with a 2nd place trophy. Highest finish ever and first time ever in the Top 3!! Great job girls - KJHS is super proud of your hard work. They will be "home" to showcase their routine this upcoming Sunday, January 18 at the Knoxville Competition, so come on out cheer them on. Go Big Blue!!

The Student Council Winter Wonderland Dance is this Friday! Presale tickets are just $3 and can be ordered through the KJHS Student Council Google Classroom. The last day to preorder tickets is Thursday. If you already purchased tickets last month, you’re all set—no need to buy again! All proceeds support Camp GranADA, a camp in Illinois for children with diabetes.
