Change of plans
Our KJHS 7th Grade Girls Basketball team brought home the Regional Championship last Wednesday night in dominating fashion! They will now play for the Sectional Championship and a trip to IESA State on Wednesday, December 3 at 6:00 pm vs. Illini Bluffs. The game will be played at St. Philomena School in Peoria. We will take a fan bus for any students who would like to attend the game. It will be open to the first 50 students who sign up AND pay the $5 entry fee to the game. We collect this ahead of time so that students don't have to walk up and individually pay for entry to the game. Signups will begin tomorrow morning, Tuesday, December 2 in the KJHS office. Students who plan to attend will need money if they want to purchase anything from the concession stand. The bus will leave KJHS at 4:50 pm and we will send a notification when we depart from Peoria. Good luck and Go Bullets!!

December is right around the corner, and the KJHS Student Council has lots of exciting things happening!

The Candy Gram Sale will take place from December 8 to 12. All profits will support the KJHS Angel Tree, helping families in our school this holiday season.

The Winter Wonderland Dance is on Friday, December 12. Money raised from the dance will be donated to the IAJHSC State Service Project, benefiting Camp GranADA, a summer camp for children with diabetes.

Thank you for supporting our students as they work to spread kindness and give back this December!

KJHS had an amazing day of giving! Our students collected 217 food items during school today and another 161 at tonightโ€™s basketball game. That brings our total to 705 items so far! This should put the Jr High in first place!

Tomorrow brings another fun day of spirit and generosityโ€”please send in breakfast food items. Just a reminder that all donations must be non-perishable.

Thank you so much for your support and kindness!
