Here is the KJHS extracurricular schedule for next week (December 18-December 22).
At KJHS, tomorrow is the last day for the Candy Gram sale. We have four students on our Angel Tree and we hope to be able to make their holidays very special so send those Candy Grams! Tomorrow is also the first day of our Spirit Week. The theme tomorrow is Red and Green Day.

We are almost half way through the school year which means we need to order your student's cap and gown. The deadline for ordering is January 15, 2024. For those of you that have already ordered. Thank you!
5th & 6th Grade Volleyball Girls

District Strategic Planning with the Board of Education, administration, faculty, students, and community was very successful and productive. We appreciate the facilitation provided by the Illinois School Board Association. We thank the attendees to took time out of their Saturday's to attend!

Congratulations to the KHS Competitive Cheer team on winning the Farmington Invitational this weekend.
KJHS 6th, 7th and 8th grade band students will host a Winter Concert at the KHS auditorium tonight, 12/11/23, at 6:30 PM. Band students should arrive at 6 PM. The event is open to the public. We look forward to another wonderful performance.

CORRECTED ANNOUNCEMENT- Knoxville High School will be holding first semester finals on Wednesday, December 20, and Thursday, December 21, 2023. On Wednesday, December 20th, finals will be conducted for all even-numbered class periods, while on Thursday, December 21st, finals for all odd-numbered classes will take place. If your student has a study hall during 2nd or 8th hour, or 1st or 7th hour, they have the option to arrive late or leave early. To do so, please contact the school to excuse your student from the relevant class period.

KJHS Boys Basketball will practice tomorrow, 12/8, from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm. Parents of basketball players, please make sure that transportation arrangements are made in advance.
