Reminder that there is a meeting tonight at 6:30 pm in the KHS commons for any 6th-8th grade boys and their parents interested in baseball open gyms with Coach Thompson. Open gyms will begin this Thursday, 1/4.

Attention all 6th-8th graders interested in baseball:
KJHS enjoyed a visit from Representative Dan Swanson on Monday, December 18. Mr. Swanson visited ag classes, participated in science experiments, observed an egg drop activity, helped with lunch duty, and watched the STEM class clean water challenge. Mr. Swanson was also able to help 7th grade students practice for the Illinois Constitution test. Thank you for your time, Mr. Swanson.
The KJHS Breakfast menu for this Tuesday (12/19/23) and this Thursday (12/21/23) has changed.
Tuesday's breakfast will be sausage, egg, and cheese on a bagel.
Thursday's breakfast will be WG Banana or Chocolate bread.

The KJHS lunch menu for today and tomorrow has changed.
Today's lunch will be a Bologna and Cheese Sandwich, Chips, Veggies, and Fruit.
Lunch for tomorrow, 12/19/23, will be Chicken Nuggets, French Fries, Peas, and Fruit.
There will be a limited concession stand (baked goods and water) at tonight's KJHS Boys Basketball home game. Please plan accordingly and we apologize for any inconvenience. Also, please note that tomorrow night's KJHS boys basketball game at Brimfield will begin at 5:00 pm.
KJHS reminders - Volleyball practice tomorrow, 12/18 from 3:30-4:45. Boys basketball vs. ICS at 5:30 at KJHS. Boys basketball players should arrive for the game at 4:30 pm. Please make appropriate arrangements for after school.

At KJHS, tomorrow is the last day for the Candy Gram sale. We have four students on our Angel Tree and we hope to be able to make their holidays very special so send those Candy Grams! Tomorrow is also the first day of our Spirit Week. The theme tomorrow is Red and Green Day.

District Strategic Planning with the Board of Education, administration, faculty, students, and community was very successful and productive. We appreciate the facilitation provided by the Illinois School Board Association. We thank the attendees to took time out of their Saturday's to attend!

Congratulations to the KHS Competitive Cheer team on winning the Farmington Invitational this weekend.
KJHS 6th, 7th and 8th grade band students will host a Winter Concert at the KHS auditorium tonight, 12/11/23, at 6:30 PM. Band students should arrive at 6 PM. The event is open to the public. We look forward to another wonderful performance.
