Dear Parent/Guardian,
Our Five Essentials Survey is now open. Parents can participate in the parent survey supplement, part of the Illinois 5Essentials Survey administration. We guarantee that survey responses will never be connected to the identity of you or your child. School reports will only present aggregated information of how parents and students responded as a whole.
A parent survey report will be generated if at least 20 percent of parents/guardians respond to the survey. While the parent data will not be made public, the parent report will be made available to Mr. Matt Maaske, Principal, Mrs. Michelle McClay, Assistant Principal, and Dr. Andrea Guerrero, Superintendent, and will enable them to make considerations based on the responses given by Knoxville CUSD 202 parents/guardians. Your participation in the parent survey will help us understand the conditions at your child’s school and guide improvement. Again, your identity and individual survey responses will be kept completely confidential and will never be connected to you or your child.
Teachers and fourth through 12th grade students throughout Illinois are taking the 5Essentials Survey. School-level 5Essentials Reports will be generated if teachers and/or students meet their 50 percent response-rate thresholds. These research-based reports will be sent to schools and districts in May and will also be included in the State School Report Card, released statewide in the fall.

There will be a Project Graduation Meeting on Tuesday, February 6 at KHS in Mrs. Dillon's classroom on the second floor at 5:30 p.m. All Senior parents who would like to help out are encouraged to attend.
Attention: The Varsity girls will play the first game tomorrow evening at Abingdon-Avon high school. The JV game will follow. 6pm tip-off for the Varsity game.
Fans traveling to Rockridge for tonight's JH wrestling meet, please enter the school using Door 5, which is on the North side of the building. They also have a home basketball game, so fans entering at a different door will have to pay the HS gate fee. Good luck wrestlers - Go Bullets!

Attention: Tonight's High School Boys Varsity Basketball LTC Tournament game will be played at Mercer County Early Leaning Center. 203 N. Washington St. Joy, IL. 7:30 pm game-time.

Attention: There has been an additional game added to the Varsity Girls Basketball schedule. The Varsity Girls will play at Macomb on Saturday, February 3rd at 11am. This is Varsity only, no JV game. The game will be played at the Washington Street gym. 323 W. Washington St. Macomb, IL 61455
Due to the KJHS home wrestling meet in Jensen Gym, open gym for baseball is canceled for tonight, Thursday, 1/25.
The KJHS 8th Grade Boys Basketball team will play their Regional game this Saturday, 1/27 vs. Table Grove (VIT) at 12:30 pm. The game will be played at Abingdon-Avon High School (600 W Martin St, Abingdon, IL). Bus time is 11:15 am. IF the team wins, they will play again Saturday evening at 6:15 pm, and the bus would leave at 5:15 pm. Good luck boys - Go Bullets!
