Attention: Due to the inclement weather this week and for the coming weekend the high school girls Lincoln Trail Conference Tournament format has been adjusted. The girls will not play tonight or Saturday. They will play next Wednesday at 6pm at West Central.

Due to the inclement weather and anticipated hazardous roads conditions, tonight's KJHS boys basketball game vs. Monmouth-Roseville is canceled. This game will NOT be rescheduled. There will be no KJHS practices this evening as well. Please stay safe if you have to travel.

Update: The high school boys basketball game at Princeville originally scheduled for tonight has been rescheduled for Thursday, January 18th. 6pm tip-off in Princeville.

Tonight's KJHS girls volleyball game at Bushnell-Prairie City and KJHS wrestling meet at Eureka are both canceled. Please stay safe if you have to travel today.

Knoxville CUSD #202 is canceling school for tomorrow Tuesday, January 9, 2024, due to the anticipated inclement weather. As a reminder no extra curricular activities including open gyms, practices or conditioning training will be permitted due to the hazardous weather conditions.

Parents/Guardians, Concerning the uncertainty of the amount of snowfall in the coming storm, please pay attention to the usual outlets if there is a school closure. Also, please be aware of the emergency bus routes and a chance of a 9:00 am late start.

Attention. Tonight's high school girls home basketball game against Kewanee Wethersfield will start at 5pm due to the potential inclement weather.

Tonight's KJHS Volleyball game is canceled. Practice will be at KJHS from 4:00-6:00 pm.

KJHS Basketball travels to Orion tomorrow for a conference matchup. The bus will leave at 4:00 pm, and players should be at KJHS at 3:30 pm. KJHS Volleyball hosts United, with the 7th grade game beginning at 5:30 pm. Should any changes arise due to weather, notices will be sent out as soon as possible. Thanks and Go Big Blue!

Reminder that there is a meeting tonight at 6:30 pm in the KHS commons for any 6th-8th grade boys and their parents interested in baseball open gyms with Coach Thompson. Open gyms will begin this Thursday, 1/4.

Attention all 6th-8th graders interested in baseball:

KJHS enjoyed a visit from Representative Dan Swanson on Monday, December 18. Mr. Swanson visited ag classes, participated in science experiments, observed an egg drop activity, helped with lunch duty, and watched the STEM class clean water challenge. Mr. Swanson was also able to help 7th grade students practice for the Illinois Constitution test. Thank you for your time, Mr. Swanson.

The KJHS Breakfast menu for this Tuesday (12/19/23) and this Thursday (12/21/23) has changed. Tuesday's breakfast will be sausage, egg, and cheese on a bagel. Thursday's breakfast will be WG Banana or Chocolate bread. Thanks!
