Wednesday is the SAT, PSAT exam day for Freshman through Juniors at KHS. That is an EXCUSED attendance day for Senior students. Senior students can utilize that day for job shadowing or college visits. You do not need to call your Senior students in for Wednesday 4/17 that is an excused attendance day for testing.
We will see your students back at school on Thursday 4/18.

KJHS Track Updates for next week (we have a couple meets added):
Monday, 4/15 - NO practice - athletes need to attend the Home KHS Track Meet
Tuesday, 4/16 - Track Meet @ Monmouth (Sunny Lane Field in Monmouth) - 4:00 pm
Wednesday, 4/17 - Track practice (time TBD)
Thursday, 4/18 - Track Meet @ Bushnell-Prairie City - 4:00 pm
Friday, 4/19 - Track practice (time TBD)
KJHS Dance Team Tryouts will be held May 6, 7, and 8 from 3:15-4:30 pm in the KJHS Gym. This is for 5th-8th graders for the 2024-2025 school year. Packets are available in the KJHS office and will be in the MWES office starting Monday for any interested 4th graders.

Attention KJHS parents/guardians - Yearbook orders will be accepted at KJHS through Friday, April 26. Online ordering is closed, but we can still accept orders here at school.
Forms are available in the office, and checks can be made payable to KJHS. Please reach out if you still need/want to order a yearbook!
All three Knoxville Schools are collecting nonperishable food items for the local food pantry. The dates are April 29 - May 3. Thank you!

Attention: Friday's high school baseball game at IVC (Chillicothe) has been cancelled. There is no make-up date for this game.

An informational sheet regarding IAR testing was sent home with each student today. Please note that KJHS will test each morning from Tuesday, April 9- Tuesday, April 16th. IAR make-up testing dates are planned for Wednesday, April 17th- Friday, April 19th. Please make sure that your student brings a chromebook charger to school each day during the testing window.
Due to the weather and cold temperatures, KJHS track practice is canceled today, Thursday, 4/4.
