Due to the potential for severe weather this afternoon, Knoxville CUSD #202 will dismiss at 1:30 PM today, Tuesday, April 16, 2024. There will be NO afternoon Pre-K and NO afterschool PALS program at Mable Woolsey Elementary School. There will be NO afterschool activities for any of the Knoxville CUSD #202 buildings.
Today's KJHS Track Meet at Monmouth-Roseville has been CANCELED due to the potential severe weather. This meet will not be rescheduled. There is NO track practice today.

Pre-K WILL be in session on May 8th at Mable Woolsey. The end date for Pre-K will not change.
A reminder that SAT testing is Wednesday 4/17. Please remind your students to charge their chromebooks Tuesday night. Also, please return the permission slip by the end of the day Tuesday so they may leave after testing has finished.

Wednesday is the SAT, PSAT exam day for Freshman through Juniors at KHS. That is an EXCUSED attendance day for Senior students. Senior students can utilize that day for job shadowing or college visits. You do not need to call your Senior students in for Wednesday 4/17 that is an excused attendance day for testing.
We will see your students back at school on Thursday 4/18.

Monday, 4/15 - NO practice - athletes need to attend the Home KHS Track Meet
Tuesday, 4/16 - Track Meet @ Monmouth (Sunny Lane Field in Monmouth) - 4:00 pm
Wednesday, 4/17 - Track practice (time TBD)
Thursday, 4/18 - Track Meet @ Bushnell-Prairie City - 4:00 pm
Friday, 4/19 - Track practice (time TBD)
KJHS Dance Team Tryouts will be held May 6, 7, and 8 from 3:15-4:30 pm in the KJHS Gym. This is for 5th-8th graders for the 2024-2025 school year. Packets are available in the KJHS office and will be in the MWES office starting Monday for any interested 4th graders.
