There is officially 1 week of summer break left! For students entering Kindergarten, 2nd, 6th, 9th, and 12th grades, health forms MUST be turned in prior to the first day of school. If you have already turned these forms in, thank you. However, if you have not, please drop them by any of the three schools PRIOR to Wednesday, August 14. The KHS Key Club is hosting a student-led orientation for all incoming freshmen and new students at KHS. The orientation will take place on Friday, August 9, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This event is exclusively for students. Its purpose is to answer any questions they may have about their first day. Students will have the opportunity to walk their schedules, find their lockers, and more. Our administration, including Mr. Mize (Principal), Mr. Weedman (Assistant Principal/Athletic Director), and our counselor, Mrs. Nolan, will be present to introduce themselves. There will also be an Activity Fair to introduce students to the various clubs offered. The day will conclude with lunch provided by our KHS cafeteria staff.
We look forward to seeing your student there!
UPDATE - Camp will only take place on August 14th & August 15th.
The 2024 KJHS Football Camp for 7th and 8th graders will take place on August 13, 14, and 15. The camp will be held at the junior high school from 3:30 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. Participants should come dressed for physical activity, bring cleats, and have their own water.

Any student who took the early permit test needs to contact Mr. Clevenger before going to the DMV. The permit test application did not print correctly and are not valid. Mr. Clevenger needs to see each one and make a change manually before they will be accepted. He will be at KHS this morning beginning at 7:45 a.m. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Attention: Please see that attachments for the upcoming boys basketball camp at KHS. You may print off the registration form or pick one up at the Board Office. Forms need to be turned in to the Board Office by Wednesday July 3rd. Board Office hours are 8am-3pm Monday-Friday. They will be closed on Friday June 21st.
KJHS running club begins on Monday, June 10 and will meet each Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:00-9:30. Running club is open to ANY 5th through 8th grade student interested in running and conditioning. Please be sure to bring water and meet by the "shed" on the West end of the junior high. If you have any questions, please reach out to parent, Joe Brignall.
Knoxville Junior High School would like to thank Doug Atwater and Country Financial for the donation that benefited both students and staff this school year. With the donation, we were able to provide student rewards for the quarterly missing assignment challenges. Additionally, 220 students were recognized and earned a full size candy bar for their hard work and growth on end of the year assessments. We were also able to purchase recess equipment and games, as well as a storage cabinet to house many of these items. Finally, staff members enjoyed a catered lunch and a gift card "drawing" to thank them for their dedication and efforts. THANK YOU!!
The Knoxville American Legion Auxiliary would like to thank the Knoxville students for contributing approximately $650 to the annual poppy fundraiser this year. This will be used to help fund veteran programs associated with post #749. Thank you again!
Please join us in celebrating the KJHS 8th grade class for promotion on Thursday, May 30th at 7:00 PM in the KHS Auditorium. 8th grade students should arrive between 6:00-6:15 and head to Jensen Gym. This event is open to the public and does not require a ticket to attend.
Good morning. If your student has medication at the school, be it over the counter or prescription medication (this includes rescue medications like inhalers or epinephrine, etc), a parent/guardian MUST pick medications up from the school. We cannot send them home with your child. If you need to make arrangements to pick up medication after this week, please email jessicalenz@bluebullets.org.
