We look forward to seeing many of you at parent teacher conferences this week. If you did not scheduled a parent teacher conference, but would still like to pick up your student's report card and assessment reports, we will have a table set up in the front hall. Please feel free to stop in to grab these items and visit with office staff during these times: Monday from 3:30-5:30, Tuesday from 4:30-7:30, and Wednesday from 3:30-6:00. If you have any questions, please call the KJHS office.

Dane Fleisher heads to the IESA State Cross Country meet today - go get 'em!! Football is in action at home - 10:00 am at Dennis Larson Field - and the cheerleaders and dancers will be there firing up the crowd. Come on out and cheer them on. It's a great day to be a Blue Bullet!!

The KJHS Student Council will host the Halloween Dance on Friday, November 1. Tickets will be sold for $3 on Monday, October 28 - Thursday, October 31. Students may also purchase tickets at the door for $4.

Congratulations to our KJHS Cross Country team for a wonderful showing at the IESA Sectional race this past Saturday! Special shout out to 6th grader Dane Fleisher for snagging the last qualifying spot for the IESA State Meet! And kudos to 6th grader Madison Lewis, who ran an excellent race and fell just 2 spots outside of qualifying for next weekend. Dane will run in the IESA State Cross Country Meet on Saturday, 10/19 at Maxwell Park in Normal, IL at 11:30 am. Go Bullets!

Due to a driver shortage tomorrow, Friday October 4th, ALL Bus #12 riders will ride Bus #9. Please anticipate a delay in drop off times.

KJHS has added two 7th grade ONLY football games to the schedule. We will play Galesburg at home on Thursday, October 10 at 6:00 pm and we will play United at home on Wednesday, October 23 at 5:30 pm. Again, both of these games will be for our 7th grade players only. Thanks and Go Bullets!
