MWES Families: We have an update on our menu this week. It is as follows:
Wednesday's Breakfast will be sausage, egg and cheese biscuit. with all other sides the same.
Thursday's Breakfast will be cinnamon streusel coffee cake with all other sides the same.
Thursday's lunch will be chicken noodle soup with fresh carrots, fruit and graham snacks.
MWES Families: - Today is the last day for the MWES Book Fair! The store will be open 3pm-5pm today! - Our next Smencil Sales will be on Thursday, Feb. 20. - Saturday, February 22 is our MWES Daughter Dance. The dance will be 5:30pm-7:30pm in the Mable Woolsey Elementary Gym. This theme is Denim and Diamonds. $5 for Daughter and Guest Combo. $10 for 2 or more Daughters. Due to the inclement weather forecasted for tomorrow, Wednesday February 12, 2025, all Knoxville CUSD #202 Schools will be closed. Also all after school extra-curricular activities are cancelled for Wednesday February 12, 2025.

MWES Families: Here we are on the first school day of February. We've been learning about Perseverance all month in our Character Strong lessons and throughout our day in January. So many students have come to me and shared that they have shown Perseverance then described how they did it. It is so fun seeing the connections that they are making! February's Character Trait of the Month is HONESTY. I look forward to watching our students grow and share the connections that they make in their lives with Honesty.
