Greetings MWES Families,
Happy New Year! I hope you all have had the opportunity to spend time with loved ones. I'm so excited to get the 3rd quarter started! We have a lot happening in the upcoming semester! As I continue to learn my role as principal, I am making an effort to improve communication with staff, families, and the community. I look forward to growing as an administrator here in Knoxville. I want to make our community proud!
Updates:
- We will continue to have a monthly calendar sent home. The January calendar will be sent out in the first week back, January 7-10. It is also added to the January newsletter (https://secure.smore.com/n/v4h6z).
- We will be sending out information about the school music concerts very soon. 3rd grade and 4th grade concerts will be up first.

This is a reminder that tomorrow is Candy Cane Day! Please wear red and white. Additionally, tomorrow will be a 1-hour early dismissal. PALS will be available after school, and Pre-K will follow the regular AM schedule, with PM Pre-K dismissing early.
MWES Families, Wow! I can't believe we only have two days left of the 2nd quarter. Thursday is Pajama Day and Crazy Crayon Sales! This will be the last Crazy Crayon Sale Day for the foreseeable future. (Until Mrs. Parrish has more crayon scraps.) Friday is Candy Cane Day - Wear Red & White for our Winter Parties! Don't forget!
