There is an informational meeting for 7th-grade students and parents regarding the 2026 DC Trip. The meeting will be in Mrs. McGuire's classroom at 7 pm Wednesday, February 26. Please contact Mrs. McGuire at kmcguire@bluebullets.org if you are unable to attend but wish to learn more about this trip.
KJHS Scholastic Bowl is at home tonight vs. Monmouth-Roseville. The match begins at 4:00 pm. KJHS Volleyball is also home tonight, and it's 8th grade night! They take on Monmouth-Roseville as well, with the 7th grade game beginning at 5:30 pm. Good luck and Go Bullets!
KJHS is hosting an IESA Wrestling Regional tomorrow, Saturday, February 22 at Knoxville High School. Doors open at 8:00 am and matches begin at 9:00 am. Admission price is set by the IESA and is $10/person for all attendees kindergarten and up. Come on out and see our kids in action as they battle for a spot in the IESA Sectionals. Go Bullets!

KJHS Scholastic Bowl and Volleyball both head to Orion for conference matchups today. Scholastic Bowl begins at 4:00 pm and the 7th grade volleyball game begins at 5:30 pm. The events will be held at Orion Middle School, 800 12th Ave., Orion, IL 61273. Good luck and Go Bullets!
KJHS Wrestling heads to Sherrard for their final tune-up tonight before Regionals. Matches begin at 5:30 pm and the meet will be held at Sherrard Jr/Sr High School, 4701 176th Ave, Sherrard, IL 61264. KJHS Volleyball is also on the road at Alwood this evening. The KJHS Dance team heads to Ottawa tomorrow for a dance competition. The team is scheduled to dance at 10:52 am at Ottawa High School, 211 E Main St., Ottawa, IL 61350. The KJHS Wrestling team also hits the road, heading to Canton for the IMS Invitational. Matches begin at 9:30 am and will be held at Canton High School, 1001 N Main St., Canton, IL 61520. Lots happening at KJHS tomorrow and next week! During the day tomorrow, celebrate the Super Bowl with us by wearing either red for the Chiefs or green for the Eagles! Tomorrow night is the Valentine's Dance! 5:30-7pm for the 5th and 6th graders and 7:30-9pm for the 7th and 8th graders. $4 admission. We will also have pizza, baked goods, and drinks. There will be games in the commons area and dancing in the gym! All next week is Crush Rush! Send an orange, red, or purple Crush soda to anyone at the school for $2.
Due to the expected improving conditions, tonight's KJHS Volleyball game at home vs. Kewanee WILL be held as expected. The 7th grade game will begin at 5:30 pm. Additionally, there WILL be wrestling practice today from 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm. Thanks, stay safe until the ice melts, and Go Bullets!!
