The Illinois State Board of Education has released the annual Illinois Report Card at https://www.illinoisreportcard.com/District.aspx?source=profile&Districtid=33048202026. The Report Card contains school performance data from the 2022-23 school year.
Schools are more than test scores. They are a home away from home for our students and staff. Our schools focus not only on academic success but also on mental health and social-emotional growth. We strive to forge strong bonds with families and community and to prepare our students to thrive in the next step in their educational journey.
On our 2023 Report Card, we are proud to see:
Mable Woolsey Elementary designated at Exemplary
31% of staff with a master’s or higher education
19% increase in high school graduation rate from 2022.
These results reflect the investments we have made in small class size at the elementary level, allowing an annual stipend for teachers to continue their education, and .
Our teachers, administrators, and staff, in partnership with you, are continuing to focus on the whole child approach to instruction emphasizing: student attendance, increased rates of high students on track to graduate, literacy and mathematics across the District, professional development that aligns with School Improvement Plans and Goals, and early interventions for students both academically and behaviorally.
