Verification of Residency
It is the responsibility of the building administrator (principal, assistant principal, guidance dean, principal’s assistant, or administrative assistant) to verify the residence of a student. Families must provide proof of residency during registration in grades K-5, 6, and 9, or if the family has changed residence. Families will be asked to provide proof of residency in the following manner:
Category I (One item showing current address)
Rent/Lease: Current lease/rental agreement AND a current utility bill or connection receipt with current address dated within 30 days of enrollment.
Home Owner: Current mortgage statement, deed, closing documents, or property tax bill AND current utility or connection receipt dated within 30 days of enrollment.
Category II (Two documents showing current address must be provided within 30 days of enrollment)
Utility Bill (gas, electric, or water), Cable (satellite, internet, or telephone bill (may include cellular bill)), Voter registration card, Auto registration, Public aid card, Payroll documentation, Credit card bill Post office boxes are not acceptable as proof of residency.
In a case where administrators have reason to believe that a student is registered under a false address, the following documents may serve as verification of address:
Rent or Mortgage Receipt
Tax Bill
Utility Bill
Affidavit of Residency if one of the items listed cannot be provided
Anyone who knowingly enrolls under a false address is subject to prosecution under the law as a Class C Misdemeanor. Any administrator who knowingly enrolls a student under false pretenses is also subject to prosecution under the same Class C Misdemeanor

If you are a new parent/guardian at the district and have never created a Skyward account with Knoxville CUSD 202#'s Skyward and have never enrolled a student with any school at Knoxville CUSD #202, please follow the instructions below.
Create a parent/guardian account by filling out and submitting the form at the following link: Create Parent/Guardian Skyward Account
Click the link that was emailed to you to set your password
Login to Skyward with the password that you just created
Login to your skyward account at the following link: Knoxville CUSD 202 Skyward
If your student has never attended Knoxville CUSD #202:
Click the down arrow next to the Home icon
Click the New Student Enrollment button to begin registering a new student to the district. You will then see a tile to register your new student.
Registration fees are able to be paid online or in person after the new student's registration has been approved and before the first day of school.
If your student attended Knoxville CUSD #202 last year or a previous year:
Under family access, there is a tile under each of your students that you would like to register.
You will have to do one registration form for each of your students.
At the end of the process you are able to pay for all of your students online at once or you may pay in person before the first day of school.

For new students to the district, if you wish to register online only, you will be sent an email that your student has been approved for enrollment. This email will contain a link to our online payment system called Vanco Revtrak. Payment must be made before the student starts school.
For returning students to the district, if you wish to register online only, you will be able to pay your registration fees right after submitting the online form.
