Welcome to Mable Woolsey Media Center!
Mrs. Fleisher, Librarian
What's Happening in the Mable Woolsey Media Center?
Students are busy reading great books for two different reading programs - Monarch Award (grades K - 3) and Bluestem Award (grades 3 - 4). After completing a book from the reading list, students either fill out a monarch or add their name to the Bluestem chart in the Media Center. Both reading lists can be found on these websites - Monarch and Bluestem.

Policies and Procedures
The Mable Woolsey Elementary School library allows each student, grades K-4, to check out library books each week during the school year.
Kindergarten and 1st grade are allowed to check out one book each week.
2nd, 3rd and 4th grade students are allowed to check out two books each week.
Our policy is that all library books must be returned to the library on the day that the student has library class. If a book is not returned, the student will not be allowed to choose another book that week or until the library books have been returned.
The librarian expects students to follow the Mable Woolsey Rules and the Mable Woolsey Expectations.
Those Rules are:
We keep our hands and feet to ourselves
We use quiet voices in the school
We walk in the school
We use good manners
We remember the Golden Rule
The Expectations are:
Be respectful to others
Be there, be ready
