Directions for Using STI InformationNOW
Attention Students and Parents/Guardians:
You may check student grade information on the STI InformationNOW website. The website does
not always work very well with the Internet Explorer web browser, so you may need to
download the Firefox web browser free from
www.mozilla.com to view student grades.
PLEASE NOTE: The Knoxville School District
does not host the STI InformationNOW website on any District servers. The
website is hosted by STI in Alabama. The District has no control of
the website's availability or speed on the Internet.
Here are some special instructions given to us by STI for using
specific browsers to check student attendance and grades:
Firefox

Click on Tools, then click Options, then
click the Content tab. Uncheck the "Block pop-up windows" box
Internet Explorer
-
Click on Tools, then click on Pop-up Blocker,
then click on "Turn Off Pop-up Blocker"

Click on Tools, then click on Internet Options,
then click on Security, then click on the Custom Level box.
Scroll down to "Downloads" and check the "Enable" box.

Click "OK", then click "Yes" to accept the changes.

Click "OK" to close the Internet Options box
Here are your instructions for logging on to the STI
InformationNOW website:

Go to the District's website -
www.bluebullets.org - and click on the link to STI
InformationNOW

Enter the same username your student uses at school to
logon to the school network
-
The first time default password is knoxville1
-
Click on the "Login" button
-
Type in the old password in the first box = knoxville1
-
Type in a new password in the second box (be sure to read
the password requirements listed on the screen)

Press the "Tab" key - or click your mouse in the third box
-
Retype the new password in the third box
-
Click on the "OK" button
-
You're in!
Here are your instructions for checking student grades on to
the STI InformationNOW website:

Click on "Student Information"
-
Click on "Progress" to check grades in individual classes
(you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader for this step - a free download
available at www.adobe.com)
